About Me
I'm high spirited and have a great love of nature, wildlife, history, and exploring new places. Originally from a small farm town in Ohio, I've lived in many states as well as in Germany and Italy, but I love the Pacific NW. I was married for 16 years - divorced for a number of years and I'm feeling very optimistic about life. While I was married, we lived in Europe for 5 years, so we did a lot of traveling. The U.S. is my favorite place to live, but visiting other countries is incredible. My newest photos were taken in December during a 10-day trip to Costa Rica with Caravan tours. I was thrilled to see all the exotic birds, turtles, frogs, crocodiles, monkeys and beautiful scenery.
I'm an early riser so you generally won't find me burning the midnight oil. I prefer my own cooking to frozen dinners and fast food, but I enjoy dining out too. Regular exercise and working in my yard keep me fit and feeling good and also let's me satisfy my cravings for extra crispy potato chips and my homemade deserts. Some other favorites are popcorn, a glass of wine and lots of bubbles in my jacuzzi bathtub (not necessarily all at the same time!).
The outside wrapper is what creates the initial attraction, but what's inside is what sustains a lasting relationship. I'm looking for an intelligent,stable, fun, kind and considerate man who has a spirit for adventure.
