I heard this recently and I think it sums me up. "Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!" I want to find a partner who wants to dance in the rain with me, metaphorically speaking of course, well, unless the rain was warm.
I'm an intelegent man, who has a life I enjoy, a great family and friends, but I miss having someone to share the special and not so special times. I am honest to a fault, I like to think I'm a gentleman, I always try to treat others as I would expect to be treated myself, but all of that said, I'm no pushover.
I like to work out, but I'm not obsessive about it, I love walking especially with my dog. Cycling is good too. I draw and paint to relax, when time allows.
They say there is a Jack for every Jill and vice versa out there, so where are you Jill?
You don't have to be the perfect woman, just perfect for me, not asking a lot then?
OK, positives in a potential partner, good dress sense, good hygiene (you'd be surprised), good sense of humour, doesnt take herself to seriously but knows the right time to be serious, self respect, respect for others, someone who knows their own mind, but isn't always looking for an argument. Someone who is both beautiful inside and out would be nice, if you exist.
Basically the opposite of the above, also I like confident people, but not those who are on some sort of ego trip.
Anyway, I hope you are out there, in fact I know you are, I just hope you read this.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
The company is more important that the venue, but, Coffee, a quiet drink, lunch or dinner, mainly somewhere where we can chat and see how we get on.
