About Me
I know this is going to sound a bit clichéd, but, I'm happy with my life, I don't feel that I need to be in a relationship, I just feel that I'm at that point in my life where would love to have someone to share it with.
I am very family orientated, my family and spending time with my son are very important to me. I don't claim to be perfect, but I do think of myself as a gentleman, I have good manners, I consider and respect the feelings of others and treat people the way I would like to be treated myself. I am honest to a fault and wear my heart on my sleeve. I am told I have a great sense of humour, I couldn't imagine life without laughter, other than it would be incredibly dull.
I enjoy being outdoors (there's just something invigorating about being in the fresh air), I love walking my dog (she's a little Jack Russell called Rosie and she loves everybody), or going out on my mountain bike (mind you, I haven't negotiated very many mountains on it), whether it's the countryside or the coast I don't mind, I consider myself lucky that I only live a short drive from either. I love all animals, but especially dogs and horses, I think horses are the most majestic and elegant creatures.
I love nights out and nights in, although I do like to vary what I do on a night out, drinks, shows, cinema, gigs or a nice meal, as I've said in my first date thing, the company is more important than the venue, it's the person or people you share an experience with that turns a good time into a great time.
I have a passion for drawing, preferably life drawing, but not exclusively, I have been told I have a talent for it, but you can decide for yourself. That's the real beauty about art, whether it is drawing, painting, sculpture, music, verse or any other type of art, not everyone likes the same thing. I have a somewhat eclectic taste in music, anything from Motorhead to Mozart and most things in between. The truth is if I hear it and like it, I'll listen to it again, it's as simple as that. I also enjoy a good read, Jo Nesbo is currently my favoured author. I love a good crime thriller or a biography.
Sorry about the pictures, they are dreadful and don't do me justice at all. That said I'm no Brad Pitt, but he's probably saying the same about me. I intend to upload some new and better ones as soon as I figure out the camera to pc process. Oh, and for all those who have asked why I have put a drawing of myself naked on here, read the caption on it, I'm the artist, not the model. But just for the record, I have posed a number of times for other artists, it's very liberating and I also believe that if you ask someone else to do something you should have at least tried it yourself.
