I have a small independent handmade business which involves me making and selling my own art in various forms. I have the best job. I feel endlessly lucky to be able to have my own business. I work really hard to keep it going and it's definitely a big part of my life and who I am. I generally appreciate small business, homesteading, diy and that sort of lifestyle more than the rat race commuting thing.
I like music (indie folk, old folk, art pop, old soul/R&B - anything interesting, pretty and mostly mellow), art, movies and general hanging out stuff. I'm pretty laid back - I'm usually happy. People like me. I'm confident but I'm not at all overbearing and sometimes I'm more introverted.
I like to joke around but I'm serious when things need to be. I'm a really supportive friend, I love my family, and I like talking about things that matter.
I'm not looking for an instant relationship or husband but I'm not looking for anything casual. I am looking for someone who would eventually want a relationship if they met someone they connected with enough. I generally like smart, creative/artistic, confident/outgoing, sweet, funny guys. Smart funny trumps most things. It's cliche but if someone can make me laugh then they're usually already looking pretty good to me.
