About Me
My best friend decribes me as the "Total Package": pretty, smart, funny, happy, sweet and kind. She also says that I have terrible radar when it comes to guys. Moral of the story? Don't be that guy! All kidding aside, this is a total first for me. I am not sure what to expect from this site, so for starters, let's just play it by ear :-).
I am a fun-loving, independent, free spirit who also possesses a serious side. School is very important to me, and I am actively pursuing my bachelor's degree in Marketing. I aim high and am a bit of an over-achiever: whether it's my degree, the Dean's List, or being a good family member and friend, I am 100 percent committed to giving it my all.
My hobbies include painting and drawing, checking out wineries or breweries (I just enjoy the creativity and local coolness of these places- I am not an alcoholic and neither are you!), going to see bands play, dancing, and generally hanging out. I love football and, as a Chargers fan, frequently develop Turrets during football season. I am as comfortable chilling on my couch with a good book as I am going out. I enjoy cooking and like to get creative in the kitchen. I love the game show Jeopardy and plan to be a contestant one day! I equally love a good run for my money when someone wants to match wits with me! Travel is a big love of mine and I like to take in new scenery, even if it means a short drive to the town/beach/lake/mountains.
In music, I love it all and will listen to just about any genre, from rock to rap to country to reggae. Some of my faves include the Eagles, Tom Petty, Slightly Stoopid, Jimmy Cliff, Depeche Mode, the Cure, Johnny Cash, the Black Keys, the Judd's, and DJ Quik. So pretty much any music is good by me!
In a relationship, I am looking for someone who equally encompasses these qualities, but also has their own special, cool little quirks to bring to the table. I am far from perfect so I am not expecting perfect! What I would like is a man who is kind, happy, intelligent, positive, and knows the importance and balance of both working hard and playing hard. A sense of humor is a must! Someone with a romantic side would be nice too: you don't have to build me a house and write me love letters every day (ala the Notebook), but maybe give me Eskimo kisses and bring me a cup of coffee every once in awhile - I am pretty easy to please!
