About Me
I am a Marin County native, who is a single parent, and I enjoy an active social life filled with many great friends. Pretty standard interests of enjoying what the Bay Area has to offer as much as possible - getting outdoors, going to all sorts of cultural events, music, great food, fantastic wine, travel, books, movies, etc. I am looking to have some fun & meet some cool, like-minded people, go on some dates, & have some romance. Eventually, it could turn into a more long-term thing - especially with someone who "gets" me. I am direct, honest and open. Not interested in games or players.
What I am currently doing with my life: Raising my daughter; Working at a job I am thankful to have, but not thrilled to be doing (Project Management); Going places and doing things with my fantastic circle of friends

The 6 things I could never do without: My daughter/Family; Friends; Laughter; Music; Intelligent conversation/a quick wit; Passion; and though I can & have done without Dark Chocolate & Good Red Wine at times, I would be very sad if they were gone for good
I spend a lot of time thinking about: How the hell I am going to meet anyone nice/normal/sane/attractive when - I hang out with my gay friends A LOT; I'm not really into the bar scene; The only straight men I seem to meet are the married father's of my daughter's classmates
What can I say about online dating? There is only so much you can get off of a profile or through an email. Plus, it can feel a lot like a job interview. I really am at my best in person.
