I'd be lying if I said I took this site entirely seriously, but hey, let's see if something comes of it.
Where to begin? I'm an enlisted Army soldier originally from Texas, Austin to be specific, and i'm stationed here in lovely ('lovely'? Sure, we'll go with that...) Savannah. Saving lives and living the dream. So I tell myself, anyway.
Musically, I mostly listen to a weird blend of old school rock/metal bands and modern hip-hop music. The two don't sound like they go together, but hey, there it is! I'm willing to give most forms of music a shot... except country. I'm just not a fan.
I'm a bit of a dork. I managed a comic shop for a total of two years and I worked for several different video game developing companies just prior to joining the service.
Going out and meeting up with friends or work buddies for a few drink or just in general is always a good time.
I'm a sucker for a zombie movie. Not even a good one, just in general. Even the bad ones are funny to watch. That really applies to horror movies in general. Not for the 'Ooo, scary' aspect, but because I enjoy laughing at the stupidity of the characters in them.
Usually one of the first comments I get upon meeting new people are "Wow, you've got a deep voice!" or "Wow, you're a tall one!" Both are true. I've been told I missed my calling as a radio show host. I may still pursue that somewhere down the line... Sounds like it might be fun. :)
For the very first date? Probably dinner at a good (not formal) restaurant or some similar social setting. The first date is to get to know someone, find out what they like or don't like, etc. and things like going to a movie don't lend themselves well to conversation. Beyond that, it's up in the air. I tend to be impulsive and like to go with the flow.
