About Me
I've been in Albuquerque for almost a year now, originally from the Northeast.....still adjusting to NM/ABQ culture...
A very few things about me...
I workout everyday because l love cake. :-D
I plan on pursuing a Master's in Special Education, possibly next year.
I engage in the lost art of walking....my carbon footprint is miniscule :-p
Good conversation is most appealing.
I enjoy random thoughts, jokes, silly humor…
Can't stand shallowness, racism, materialism or label whores.
I overuse emoticons to compensate for not grinning enough in my pics :-D
I'm not afraid to be open and frank, I respect brutal honesty over cowardliness.
My humor is very sarcastic and living here has forced me to tone it down bc I am "mean" :-(
I hate going to bed, so I'm usually up really late but still up early, minimal sleep (I know, I know, no bueno)
I am always willing to embarrass myself to make someone laugh, especially if they have a loud obnoxious laugh
I'm really into music, (kinda stuck in the 80's and 90's for some genres), mostly into various types of rock (alternative, hard, post-punk, etc.) new wave, some goth/industrial, old RnB like Motown, a lil bit of indie hip-hop and lots of old school hip hop(mostly east coast stuff I grew up on) and more; My musical tastes are still evolving and I dance to almost anything!
3 important core characteristics: be genuine, considerate and open-minded. In friends and romantic partners. I certainly do try to possess them myself...Ooh and a positive attitude as well!
I'm very considerate of other's feelings so I try not to lead ppl on and avoid hurting someone else....I expect the same in return....Seriously, its only common human decency.
If you choose to communicate with me, the only way I will know you're interested in me is for you to show real effort in trying to get to know me....I do so. I am a genuinely nice person with no intentions of being rude but if I stopped responding to you it means I felt there was no real effort on your part...sorry.
