I recently moved over to the island and so far i'm loving it, being outdoors....kayaking and biking.... .but it kind of hit me last night (a saturday) as I was sitting on my front porch, catching the last little bit of cloudy sun that i have left most my family and friends behind on the mainland, I have no problem being on my own, but why hang out by yourself when you can be around other people, so i decided then that i have been here for almost a month and its time to start meeting some new people. I'm a caring, relaxed, easy going person and im pretty much always up for an adventure. I think that i tend to come off as aloof but in reality i'm just a bit quiet until I get to know you. I like to go for long walks with no particular destination, especially in new towns. I love exploring abandoned buildings or any place that your not supposed to be. I make sun-catchers out of pieces of sea-glass that I find on the beach. I think that eating out is a waste of money. I just planted cucumber in the garden behind my house and am going to attempt to make my own pickles this fall, I love pickles.......and peanut butter, but not together. If there is one thing that I cannot live without its music, I have music on at every possible moment some of my favorites......beach house, the national, bob dylan, modest mouse, fiona apple, neko case, foals and the list goes on. Anyways I'm really not a big computer person and would much rather get to know someone in person rather than through a screen and some wires. So if you like to spend time outside trying not to spend money then send me a message and we'll see where things go.
pack some food and beers in a backpack, along with an ipod and ipod dock, kayak around for a bit, find a good spot, unpack the backpack and enjoy
