About Me
I have traveled a lot, and been married twice, briefly. I am a very resilient and talented woman with a generous heart. I am constantly making changes in my life, it seems like when you think you're balanced, you're really not; you're just too comfortable.
I would like to meet a man who is honest, intelligent, and easy-going. Well, not too easy-going that they don't voice their opinion. I work full-time, and am busy with my child and our activities/adventures, I volunteer at her school and coach her teams. However, I'm also good at making time for others and myself.
I am looking to date a nice man that would enjoy hanging-out with me occasionally, as well as accompanying me on some other adventure as our schedules permit. Yes, a FRIEND sounds like a great concept at this point!!! lol I keep an open mind and will give the right guy a chance with me.
I enjoy mostly alternative music and most new rock. Dave Mathews Band and Jack Johnson are great too. Sometimes I enjoy jazz and classical, depending on my mood. I play classical piano with sheet music (and no audience, LOL). I enjoy playing board games, scrabble, backgammon, others, Wii games like sports resort and the Wii Fit, Nintendo DS games like Professor Layton (puzzles and brainteasers). I do counted cross-stitch as gifts for people I care about. I enjoy canoing, camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, relaxing poolside, or walking around mid-town and downtown Sac.
I like to get in the car and take a drive to an unspecified destination just to get away, like to the beach or the mountains. I love to play on playgrounds at night when they are closed and other innocent mischief.

First Date
On a first date, just a brief meeting to keep things simple and check each other out and talk a little bit, like a recon mission. That doesn't sound like a date, does it? Well if we make it to "The Date", then I'm sure we'd figure something out we both would like to do. I would love to go to a shooting range, play darts, bowl, even video games, anything for fun that we could get a few laughs out of while learning about each other.
