About Me
I'm a full time auto mechanic in the Air Force, my job is very demanding but at the same time is also very fulfilling and I find it rewarding. I love what I do and always feel a great deal of accomplishments at the end of my weeks, which I guess is good because this helps me appreciate my job a lot.
I love to work with my hands, and usually amaze myself at what I can do with no prior experience. I just recently did a complete remodel on my last house and the amount of work I did in such little time while holding a full time job and going to school I thought was impressive, and apparently a lot of others did as I had been complimented quite a bit on what I had accomplished. With this I found a new passion in carpentry, or just home improvements. I am addicted to it! unfortunately it can be an expensive habit so I help others who need sometimes to get my fix.
I enjoy all sorts of music, I can tolerate pretty much anything aside of screamo, I honestly can not stand that stuff. I try to keep up with the latest but always find myself listening to the oldies, to me they are usually much better than most of the modern hyped up stuff that makes no sense. I typically catch a live show at least once a month. The music may be what catches my attention when I first hear a song, but it's the lyrics that draw me in. I like it when the music I listen to actually has meaning in it, or something other than a bunch of random words thrown together with no form of artistic creation.
I never really used to read unless I had to, but I found a greater interest in it lately so I try to read as much as I can for enjoyment and education when I have the chance. As of now I have no favorite writers or type of books but I'm still figuring all of that out for myself. Hopefully I don't end up being some stuck up dweeb telling people to hush while I read my book in a starbucks lol.
I try to get outdoors as much as I possibly can, be it going for a run or just lazily walking around, enjoying nature the fresh air and the scenery gives me a nice tranquility. Do not mistake me for a hippie, I also love dirt biking, riding quads, motor bikes, street bikes, mudding, I got addicted to snow boarding when I was living in Italy and I just love it. I also started to find myself a bit of an adrenaline junky so I'm usually up for whatever comes my way.
Movies are my favorite lazy time on a cold or rainy day. I'm very much into sci-fi, just wish they would get back on track with the great shows they had in the past. Over all I enjoy almost all genres of movies, but you will never catch me watching a chick flick! cause I lock the doors to make sure you cant :P
I do consider myself a bit of a nerd, I sort of have to, I have built my last two computers, I own every game console and I tend to nerd it up from time to time. I love the battlefield series, I think it's the best game ever! I also hate World of Warcraft, if you enjoy it that's your own deal.
I could go on and on about likes or dislikes but I think it would be best to let someone get to know me in person, its much better than just knowing somebody on paper.

First Date
For a first date I'd prefer to avoid the movies because you cannot get to know someone there. A nice dinner or cup of coffee followed by a refreshing stroll would be ideal.
