About Me
I'm very satisfied with my life. I have a job that is rewarding and fulfilling, a family that is loving and supporting, and a good variety of hobbies that keep me busy all day long. The only thing I'm missing is someone to share it with.
I'm passionate about everything I do. I don't necessarily have to be the best at something, but I'm not satisfied if I give less than 100% (I'm also mathematically literate, so the phrase "giving 110%" indicates to me that you need to recalibrate your instruments).
I enjoy games in all forms; the less luck and the more strategy involved, the better. I sometimes spend more time reading the rules and devising strategies than I do actually playing the game!
I'm very active and make a point to take a long walk on the Lakewalk every day. I love getting out and enjoying the fresh air after a hard day's work.
I'm solution-oriented: I prefer solving a problem to complaining about it. I believe that all the best things in life have to be earned: I am willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish that which is important to me. I prefer hard truths to easy lies: I've found that being upfront and honest almost always works out better than the alternative.
Here are some things I'm looking for in a match:
- Intelligence: This is a major turn-on -- the smarter you are, the better.
- Common interests: Specific interests aren't necessary, but I'd like someone who can share in both intellectual pursuits (reading, talking about the news, philosophical discussions) but who also likes to stay active.
