I'm thinking I need to fill this in a little more...
5 awesome things about me...
1 I'm addicted to learning, so I'm into conversation about most anything.
2 I love astro physics, I'm sorta in love with the Hubble & Kepler telescope.
3 While I often found to be intensely introspective I am also known to watch mindless television b/c it's flippin awesome.
4 I love my job, am good at it too.
5 I have lots of really great friends that are like family, and will do anything for them.
5 things I need to work on...
1 I've been told I'm like a computer, and we can't all think about science all the time.
2 I am a very open person but it takes me a long time to realy trust ppl.
3 I'm busy. The world has a lot to offer & life is short. I have a hard time waiting on other ppl to do stuff with them. I'd rather just go when I have time. Sometimes ppl take that as neglect.
4 While I have a natural tendency to nurture a man I don't want to be anyone's mom, and that is a fine line sometimes. :\
5 I'm a clean freak most the time, but then there will be a week where like only the dishes get done. I've been told this is trying behavior.
I'm changing my profile because some people were writing saying I sound negative. This is the opposite of what people often comment to me in life; that I very positive in all situations. I see life as an opportunity and I intend to take my opportunities. I spend a great deal of time reading others research about our universe, and trying to apply it to my everyday life. While I'm a very busy RN/mother I am also a fan of yoga and mental clarity. If you've never tried yoga because you think it's boring you might try & find a new love. Having peace of mind from what society presents may lead to increased happiness, just sayin.
As people are requesting I'll say, I'm looking to find a best friend. Just like everyone else. I don't need a man whom can explain rocket science to me but he needs to be ok with my love for it. A man who find science and nature fascinating is a plus, however that may manifest. I don't need a man whom wishes to attend science festival with me, but one whom encourages my love of it. I really don't have much that I want on the checklist. Basically a person whom wishes to share their thoughts and heart with me, and would like me to return that, reciprocity. I like the idea of a team, knowing that I will be welcomed when the hard times come to be a pillar of stability, and knowing he will be there to share happiness with me as well. That we both want to be there, not an obligation as society dictated, but as a strong bond built through laughter and curiosity.

First Date
I believe a date is an invitation extended. I'm a woman whom makes many decisions for many people, and the house, every day. Men used to ask and plan, now all of the sudden this is our job. I think there are women who'd appreciate that control. Additionally, dating is really just becoming and growing a friendship. So the "friend zone" is where one would want to be.
