First of all, please don't take the fact that I'm looking to date as an indication that I'm a player. I have been burned too many times and am not ready to jump into a relationship just yet. When I find the right one and we both know it, it'll happen.
I am a Christian who knows that I cannot make it throughout the day without God's help and only do so by His grace. I'm looking for someone who understands that and is of the same opinion. One of my all time favorite teachers is Joyce Myers and if you've listened to any of her messages or read any of her books then you probably understand.
I helped a friend open an Italian restaurant and spent two years as the pastry chef. I love to cook but do not like to clean up afterwards. I love to fish and spend time outdoors exploring. I enjoy working with wood building/making things and I enjoy working on machinery; cars, boats, lawn equipment, motorcycles...
There are some great profiles on here and then there are some that make you think, what was going on in your head when you posted that! It never fails to surprise me to see someone post a picture from a different decade as if to say, this is what I used to look like.
While I was living in Florida I met a woman on another dating site. We talked and agreed to meet at a church I had been attending. I met her at her car and when she smiled revealing a toothless grin, I was more than a little shocked and disappointed. I am not saying she had a tooth or two missing, I mean she might have had a couple of molars. We sat through the service and I took her out for lunch but needless to say I did not contact her again. Don't shock someone like that, it's wrong.
