About Me
If you put me in a room with ten strangers and I’ll have ten new buddies, or at least ten slightly amused new acquaintances. The desire to be kind to others is a basic part of my being. This stems from my faith, which informs every aspect of my life. I’d like to find someone to share that life with, whether we’re taking a trip to Egypt or simply sitting at home watching Pillow Talk or Back to the Future. I love to read, everything from Animal Farm to This Is My G-d. I think I prefer campy fun to camping and the hotel pool to the beach, but I do enjoy doing outdoorsy things, especially cruising on my bike around town. I just started training for a 5k, not quite sure how I feel about running just yet. And as to the aforementioned hotel, I am a very down to earth woman, so it does not have to be the Ritz. If I am with the right person, one of Tom Bodett’s fine establishments will do just fine. I’ll go to a football or baseball game with you in a heartbeat, although it’s probably just an excuse for me to have a ballpark dog, kosher of course, and lemonade. I’m an all around funny and outgoing girl and I play nice, so say hello and let’s make a play date.

I am looking for one of those first dates that is absolutely amazing, where we share a connection and know that this is the beginning of something life changing. I am genuinely looking for the man I will spend the rest of my life with, someone who is intelligent with a great sense of humor and a passion for social justice. The man that I am looking for is not into playing games or the thrill of the chase, he is not looking for just another girlfriend, but he is ready for a serious, committed long-term relationship leading to marriage and hopefully a family. He does not have to tell people that he is a gentleman; his actions prove that he is one. He is a man of action; he knows exactly what he wants and goes after it. If we are a match, you will be my number one priority and I will be number one on your list. Being selfish is just not part of who he is; he cares for his family, community, friends and his partner. He’s attractive in his own way and is comfortable with his emotions. He does not have any children, either living with him or outside the home. He can hold his own in a debate with me and can tactfully tell me when I am wrong. He will come over and sit on the sofa with me while we watch The Empire Strikes Back and he explains to me exactly why it is obviously the best of the Star Wars movies. And he’s the man that I can’t get angry at, even when we both know we are lost and he continues to pass gas stations without stopping to ask for directions.

But, even with this long list of all the things I would like this man to be, if he is truly my beshert then none of it will matter. The fact that we have found each other will be all that matters.
