About Me
I am a people person who loves hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy helping out in the community through work or in my spare time. Although I know POF has a reputation for being more of a "casual dating" site, a friend recommended that I check it out as I am in search of a relationship that hopefully leads long-term eventually in finding me the woman I can love for the rest of my life. I definatley have a heart for God as well as others and He is the one where I draw a lot of strength from. My relationship with Jesus is important to me and I hope to find someone who loves God as well. I am an easy going guy who likes to find the humor and fun in life's situations. I am also confident in the career path I am on and that it will lead me closer towards my passion of helping others towards a better future. I am currently back in University furthering my studies in Social Work for more education in my field. I work in my field as well already to support myself and although it can be tough sometimes , it is rewarding and I know there is a rhyme & reason for doing both. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, music, dancing (especially latin), good food, movies, and spending time with those I care about. I like most of those dancing TV shows like SYTYCD, Best dance crews, as well as the Voice, Mad Men, Simpsons/Futurama, etc . I love travelling and hope to do more in the future. My friends describe me as being patient, friendly, caring, empathetic, funny, spontaneous, sincere, etc. I ain't perfect tho! I can procrastinate, I don't like doing my laundry and often leave it till it must be done. I have been through ups and downs in life and found that my faith has been the main consistent thing (in addition to family) that has sustained me. I really believe that you need to like being friends with that special someone in addition to having chemistry. I don't like to judge others, and instead try to see their points of view, and how things occured. I am very open as I get to know someone better and prefer honesty being a big part of the relationship, in order for it to grow into something special. I can have a pretty dry sense of sarcastic humor as well. ;) Anything more, just ask!

First Date
I think coffee/tea, or going for lunch is a pretty safe bet, but can also be too safe! Why not try something fun (bowling, going to an outdoor festival together), or at least outdoors. If I know some of the woman in question's likes/dislikes I like to plan something for the "date" as well. I am open to suggestions! :)
