So about me, rather than tell you who I think I am, I'll tell you the things I generally do, and have done this year - That way you can see if we do the same sort of things, or they're things you'd like to be doing too! In 2013 I've been up to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival, Castle Donington for Download Festival and Newark for the Americana Festival. I've been to a couple of gigs in Nottingham (BFS, Patent Pending, Alterbridge, Halestorm, Shinedown). I went to Birmingham for the Rezzed gaming convention and Leeds for a graduation. I've been for long weekends away near York and Middlesbrough, as well as a wedding in Burton. I'm not a big drinker, but generally go out a couple of times a month with friends.
I'm a big media consumer, love music of a rock nature, though my tastes do stray into country and techno. I watch a lot of films and many (normally American, big budget) TV shows but not much live TV. I play a lot of games, mostly on the PC, but I have a PS3 too. I normally have social media sites open on my phone or PC and spend a lot of my time when I'm at home talking to the friends I've made from around the world. I've recently started running to improve my fitness, and frequently walk with family and friends in the country! I'm usually awake until the early hours and tend to fall asleep with a good book.
As I said previously, I'm not a big drinker so I'm not looking to be heading out to the pub with someone multiple times a week. I haven't been in a generic nightclub for years and I don't intend to change that, I'm not the kind of person to go on a standard night-on-the-town with. I'm much more at home listening to guitar, drums and a badass vocalist. I try to weave my geeky lifestyle in with the rock'n'roll in me, so if you can't relate to either one, we're unlikely to get along.
Drop me a message if you're curious and I promise to get back to you!
**The experience on POF seems to be completely different between guys and girls. You might be reading this because I'm one of the ten other guys that have sent you a message today, but unless you send a message back, I'm unlikely to get more than one back a month. I'm not the kind of person to message everyone, or use a pre-written message that I copy and paste to everyone with a pulse. If you're here and reading this because I sent you a message, you're probably the only one I've messaged this week. I just want to say thanks for getting this far, and if you could just take ten seconds out of your day to say you'd like to talk, or that you're not interested, that would put a big smile on my face. Either way, best of luck on POF and I hope you find the happiness you're searching for!**
