I've raised my kids and now look forward to new adventures with a good man along the way. It is my intention to one day get away from this crazy world of on-line dating.
To describe me ~ I'm short/petite/fit, blonde/brown hair, outgoing, independent, honest/no drama (I like clarity; no tip-toeing around issues), can be serious-professional or silly-playful, all depending on the occasion. I enjoy conversations of simple 'stuff' to deep discussions and everything in-between. I'm comfortable in heels or workboots and enjoy days of adventure, to low-key, simple moments and have a variety of interests (love travel of most any kind & seeing/learning new things). Although I sport the hair/make-up, I'm no diva and have tackled many household/landscaping projects - learning too, that although celebrating some jobs well done, it would have held more meaning to have shared the experience.
Attraction is based on a # of things, so I don't have a certain 'type' but consider the following things to be of some importance ... someone emotionally sound/has been there/done it/learned from it and ready to move on with one person, who takes care of himself and family, can laugh and make the best of most any situation (sense of humour is an awesome quality) and who is financially stable (no need to be 'rich' but not looking to inherit a big debtload either) ... just looking for balance in most areas. People seem to long for that elusive chemistry/sex, which I'm certain most of us want, but if you're looking for that extreme fairy-tale love that gives you constant butterflies, I say keep dreaming 'cause that doesn't last. What does, is that day-to-day chemistry that makes couples click and 'get' each other, that builds from shared experiences, communication, trust and humour. I'm looking for a little more substance than flavour of the week, knowing that making quality memories gives us those reasons to 'live, love and laugh' as the saying goes. Life's not always easy, but good things are worth waiting for ... cheers and happy searching everyone!
