So, lets skip all the eye catching one liners and just get down to the basics of, well, me I guess.
My name is Meg and I am 23. I currently work as an Assistant Dog Groomer at a local boutique and salon. I work Tuesday through Saturday so my schedule is unusual I suppose. Sometime in the near future, I'd like to get myself to Grooming School and earn my Grooming Certification. I'm warning you now, I am literally elbows deep in wet dogs all day so if you're allergic to animals, I'm sorry but it would probably best if you wandered off to greener pastures. I own two cats and six rats, and won't be offended if you think it's disgusting. Not my fault rats are smarter and more affectionate than hamsters and other small critters. Some of my hobbies include reading massive amounts of books, wasting several hours on Skyrim and Minecraft, snuggling with my pets and writing short stories.
I've always dreamed of going to Scotland and Ireland someday. I'm fascinated by the rich history and the gorgeous landscapes. And of course, the kilts aren't half bad either, haha. My musical tastes vary greatly. I like everything from Five Finger Death Punch to Lana Del Rey to Skrillex and back to Celtic Woman and everywhere inbetween. The only things I'm not fond of are most rap, gospel and some country. I'm originally from Oak Lawn, but moved to the boondocks ten years ago, so I guess I'd consider myself a country girl. I'm not afraid of getting down and dirty outside, but I also wouldn't mind just relaxing on the couch too. More than anything though, I do want to be clear on something. I am a nerd. Huge nerd. Ridiculously so. I even got a skyrim logo on my car, I'm so nerdy haha. Okay, so I'm not that big of a nerd, but I am indeed one. Don't like it? Then obviously you aren't my type.
Unlike most twenty-two year old women, I'm not into the whole chain dating thing. I don't sleep around, no one night stands or anything like that. I am not in high school anymore and shouldn't have to deal with childish drama, especially in a relationship. I'm looking for something serious and long term where, if everything goes well, it could lead to marriage. I want commitment, is that such a hard thing to ask for? I'm tired of all the mind games and the useless drama. If that's all you're going to bring to the table, then I fold. Simple as that. I am not wasting my time on you when I could be talking to someone of worth.
If you've read all that and haven't been scared off, I really would like to get to know you so, please do send me a message. If I viewed your profile, but didn't leave a message, I'm probably too nervous to do so. So if you think I could be interesting, feel free to break the ice first, haha. Looking forward to hearing from you.
It doesn't need to be anything fancy. I'd totally be up for knocking down a few pins at bowling, or going out for ice cream and a stroll or even chilling at a bar works for me. I've never gone fishing, but always wanted to try it. I'm open to pretty much anything.
