About Me
As my headline suggests, my all-time favorite comedy is "Step Brothers," but if that isn't enough to tantalize you right out of the box, here is some other pertinent info about me:
I enjoy traveling, hiking, photography, live music and comedy clubs, among other things. My dog is a big part of my life, and he is spoiled rotten. I adopted him from a shelter 4 years ago, and I tried to keep him off the couch for a grand total of 30 minutes. As soon as he hopped into my lap while I was watching the Giants game and he rolled over for a belly rub, well, he was pretty much in charge at that point. He is quite friendly and affectionate, so if the idea of a wriggling beagle wanting to say hello bugs you, move on to the next profile because we are definitely a package deal.
I am a fan of the Giants and 49ers, but the Giants are definitely more of a passion. I grew up loving and playing baseball, and get to as many games as I can during the season.
I come from a fairly big, close-knit Italian family, and they are extremely important to me. Our holiday festivities and other get-togethers are ridiculously loud and feature an obscene amount of food. Now, I don't pretend to be Gordon Ramsey, but my nonna taught me to cook and I actually have some skills. I hope you like Italian.
About 2.5 years ago I took a big risk and left my former employer to start my own business/practice. So not surprisingly, I do invest a good deal of time working. However, I love being my own boss. And I find the prospect of building something greatly appealing. While I might need to put in a 60 hour week on occasion, I have the freedom (in theory) of taking off for a week in Mexico whenever I want. Okay, I haven't actually done that yet, but I could!
What am I looking for? In a relationship, I think honesty and compassion are critical, as they are in life. My ideal match would be caring, self-confident, smart, full of humor, fun to talk with, enjoy family/friends, and have a generally positive outlook on life.
Okay - any other questions, just ask! And even if you don't think we would be a great fit, good luck out there. :-)
