Well it seems in order to catch fish here you must have a long line, and with any luck I will land my line in a pond where gentlemen fish still exist. One's who are a little old fashion, and where chivalry still exists and where they are looking for a honest relationship! Not one where a frolick in the sack is there only goal. I am not looking for one night stands. Don't get me wrong I do understand there are needs but I like to be in a relationship before tending to those needs. I know there are still good guys out there but sadly as per the norm the bad ones make it hard for thous true of heart to shine through. I am not an aggressive pursuer maybe I am just to old school? I never was the "Bell of the ball", the one soliciting dancing from the gents I was the one sitting quietly on the side line waiting to be asked. Guess a dating site is not the place to be unless your are the "Bell of the ball"? All I want is to meet one man who can share the rest of our days growing old together, enjoying life's up and downs. I think of others and have at times done with out so others could have, I still believe a smile can change ones life, and that there truly is good in everyone, just some times it take work to bring it out. I take great joy in helping others, especially when they do not know who it was that helped. If some one gave me a choice of living in a huge mansion or a log cabin in the woods....well I would have to choose the cabin.But not preferably not alone, even though I would survive just fine Yes I have been quilty of being a material girl but simplicity is more who I really am. Money can by a lot but it can not by happiness. The poorest of mankind has more to offer then the wealthy, cause they give of themselves!! The school of life has taught me lots, some good some not so good, but I believe it has made me the person I am today and I have not given up on man kind. I believe my baggage is packed away and I am for sure ready to move on to the next stage in my life. Looking for that one man who will travel the journey with. I am easy to get along with and I am not so stuck in my ways that I will not be open to trying new adventures. I have my children who have spent my time raising and I believe I did a good job, they are my best friends so must have done some thing right. Now it's time to live my life. I have not dated for a long time so would have to get the grease can out, lol I wear my heart on my sleeve, and believe honesty is the best policy. I have a sense of humor, some times even a sarcastic one, I think the best music in the world is laughter and that smiles can bring happiness. I am content in my life and have grown accustom to living alone but it does get terribly lonely. I have a big heart and lots to give, but I am not a mat that can walked over. But I guess you would have to get to know me in order to really see who I am..
