About Me
I am a woman comfortable in my own skin. My greatest successes and most embarrassing failures help shape me into a woman who knows to keep things simple, speak the truth, offer forgiveness, and don't take things so seriously. I was married for many years and now divorced long enough to know that being single sucks. lol Life is meant to be shared. My only child is at college out of state chasing tornado's and wild weather.She gets her determined spirit from me for sure I have spent many years in a great career working with teens and families in a variety of settings. The early years I focused on gang kids and violent offenders, then mellowed into secure psychiatric settings. LOL Got an excellent sense of humor and a ton of wild crazy stories.I used to live for my career and now my job is simply a means to an end. Thankfully, wisdom is a good thing and one can choose to reshuffle priorities at any time.,. I am a football fan and love to spend my fall weekends decked out in spirit colors and heading off to the match up of the weekend. Friday night high school games, Saturday college games and Sunday NFL match ups typically get on my calender first. I do enjoy select luxuries in life however am most content with simple country living. . I like traveling the road less traveled. And if that travel is on a Harley or vehicle with a little get up n go even better. I enjoy dirt bikes and quads, camping and nature, meeting new people, being playful and spontaneous, and sharing laughter.. I enjoy a night out but am most at peace at home with my man. I love to grow flowers and work with my hands. My music tastes vary but I confess I will forever be one who plays music a little too loud, sing the words slightly off key and breaks into wild, sometimes silly, abandoned dance spontaneously. . Music fills, restores and rejuvenates my very soul.. Finally I am skilled with handling crisis and life'drama's given my chosen life long profession, outside of work, however, I am laid back and will kick drama to the curb every time. Situations happen in life but am straight up about not allowing conflicted chaos to be a part of my daily life..
