About Me
I am kind, truthful, courtious, bath regulary(LOL), respectful to all and an all around nice guy, and love jokes. All my bills are paid off. Sorry to hear Carol Shelby died, as he was such a great man.
I have interest in Amateur Radio, Computers (BSCS), Aircraft, Car's espically collectables, solar/wind/hydro power. I am not into sports at all, so I do not watch Football, Baseball, Hocky, Fights, Basketball, Golf or anything like it.
One thing that may be of importance, I am taking care of my mother; once she is gone I will probably either move out west, WY,UT,ID,Northern AZ, Western CO or north to Eastern TN or Western NC area. Not really decided, but would really like out west as I just want a cooler climate. Also would really enjoy someone that may consider Off-Grid living or at least solar assisted. With running water, inside bathroom with septic, all appliances, TV and most of the other comforts. I am NOT a doomsday person, but I would really like to get to the point I do not have to rely on utilities that much. I do enjoy firearms and I want to be able to protect those I love if necessary either from animals or criminals.
Up front I have a heart problem and had a triple-bypass in 2005, 4 stents since then, but regulary visit Cardiologist. I eat about what-ever I want and trying to cut back to some of the better things. I did cut out sweets for 8 months and my sugar level stayed the same, so not sure if cutting back really helps me! The heat kills me here in Florida and I go from A/C to A/C in summer. I am having problems getting motivated since I take care of my mother and she requires attention, but can be left overnight or perhaps a few days if the ocasion arrises.
I do enjoy walks in the evening or very early mornings, or at the sea shore. I enjoy Pets, I have had Dog's, Cat's, fish, ferrets. I really loved each one of my pets; although the fish are hard to cuddle with, but I now have a dog (Shiz-Tzu Spaniel mix) that I adore and he adores me. Long/Short story on how I got him. I know this may offend some but I do not like Birds, I do not hate them, just do not really care for them as pets. If someone had a Falcon/Hawk, I could be persuaded to those. LOL... I think Lizards and snakes are ok, just do not want them on me. Spiders are fine also but again not wanting to handel them.
Now as far as children; I would like some, but nothing is set in stone and realize that that special person has had them and doesn't want more or due to life can no longer have them which is quite fine. It is far more important to spend the rest of my life with someone that is special to me and I to them.
Now that I have officially attended one of the POF functions; even though it was somewhat amusing I really did not find the bar scene some thing I want to continue in the future. First off is I don't like the cigarette smoke as it really bothers me, so that is my choice and that is entirely fine with me, just a choice I will not be pursuing. I'm not really a drinker, not because I'm in any way an alcoholic, it is just something I personally only enjoy once in a great while and then one or two are more than enough. At least I tried and found it is not for me and have no problem with those that really like that environment.

First Date: A diner and movie for me are great; I do not mind dancing and I am not good at it, just not into line dancing and haven't tried ballroom, but think I would like it, other options entertained and probably accepted since you would rather do that. I am one for not dressing up unless their is a special occasion; like a funeral...LOL...
