Well, I just moved here a bit ago from California (looong story)...
If you have a dog or you're a dog lover, major points. I have no patience for people that think that it's ok to have a dog because you have a big back yard. If you don't have the time to take the dog to a park or walk it, then you probably shouldn't have one.
I'm not big on the club scene, so if that's you, we probably won't be hanging out all that much. But do your thing, and enjoy it! And with the legal age to drink being 19 here, rubbing elbows with the 15 and 16 year olds with fake ID's doesn't really appeal to me.
Hopefully you're not high maintenance, and are laid back and down to earth, the usual generic stuff people probably look for. Having said that, there are people that love high maintenance, that's not me! I like someone that can get dressed up once in a while for a nice evening out, but the next time be just as comfortable in jeans and flip flops!
I'm laid back and sarcastic, hopefully you can take it and dish it right back...keep me on my toes! I have found it to be very difficult to talk to people here, something as simple as saying hello, and how is your day going...people look at you like you have two heads. Having worked in the south and lived in many places like San Diego and North Carolina, I'm used to people making eye contact and saying hi.
No expectations, just hang out and have a good time. No pressure environment where it won't have to feel like a job interview!
PS..please don't have pics throwing up the deuces looking tough...unless you're a gangster, then I take that back. Feel free, and you might as well show some pics of what heat you're packing too.
And...a good hug is way underrated!
