About me:
I am originally from Ireland, and although I consider myself a modern girl about town, I am also traditional in many ways, including dating! I am old fashioned in that I like to be treated like a lady and appreciate it when a man opens doors for me, is the first to call and takes the initiative in the relationship.
I have a small group of very close friends, and value them very much. My family is mostly in Ireland and I keep a close connection with them and visit them almost every year (This year we did a family reunion/vacation in Italy!)
I love life in the bay area - there is lots to do here! I work hard, but enjoy my time off:Hiking, Dinner, movies, the occasional Broadway show :) I love exploring the area and am up for trying new things.
But enough about me! I would love to find someone who also likes to travel and explore the world. Who enjoys just hanging out as well as dressing up and getting out on the town (with me in my high heels..) Someone who also has ambition and drive, and knows that a healthy, active lifestyle helps you get more out of life! (No couch potatoes please!) Could that be you?
Update: In the spirit of transparency I am 51 (but could pass for late 30's..ok early 40's) people who meet me tell me that I am young in spirit and the life and soul of the party! My friends describe me as a fun,loyal, dependable good friend who they can rely on.

First Date
First date would just be a meet and greet - if we have chemistry then we could plan something fun! Dinner and a show, or a drive down the coast with lunch at Sam's. I would let my date plan the first outing to see how creative/fun he would be :) ( is that too much pressure??)
