I am Mad Madi the Red, Shield Maiden of Valhalla! ...my username is MadValkyrie.
I am a Transsexual lesbian woman. My sociological gender is female and live my entire life as such.

I have a Masters in music and additional BSc in Sociology. I own a small media and music production and publishing company
and I also work in Pro-Se civil law.
As a performing musician I am mainly retired. I play a myriad of instruments fluently and was a talented male voiced singer under a trademarked stage name. I still record and publish and am involved with coordinating and assisting the media/music projects of others.
I have greatly lost faith in finding the right person in life and these dating sites seem always to be filled with the same types of riffraff. Being a Transsexual, and more often than not feared and misunderstood, this process is that much more difficult. The “transgender community” has been over-run with perverts whom do not represent what true Transsexuals like myself are; lesbian woman are often judgmental of me and/or make assumptions based on false stereo-types; and males harass me believing me to be a sex novelty object. These are just a glimpse at some of the social obstacles I face looking for the right partner.
In reality, and not the stereo types or false assumptions, I am an intelligent and thoughtful person. I have a sense of tasteful dignity and am essentially no different than any mature woman in her 40s.
I live my life with integrity and a worthwhile sense of ethics. How kind, sweet or nice I am is not right for me to boast; I feel my words and actions shall speak for themselves. I do pride myself on having a unique and very open sense of humor; I am abstract and illogical and live a bit of second childhood in what makes me smile.
I am not the party or night club type, and never was.

That is a rediculous thing to say, especially because of the attention span that most
dullards in the world have; not to mention thier 6th grade reading levels.
Persons who write "i R U" etc will likely be ignored. Grow up and stop being lazy, please.
BUT SERIOUSLY:
We live in an age of justified distrust, so these things are difficult.
Paranoia would best describe some people, when reasonable caution should prevail.
On both ends of the spectrum we have lost common sence and good judgement.
We have individulas whom are TOO trusting too.
IDEALLY SPEAKING:
I like to get to know people via e-mail, Facebook and telephone conversations enough to
develope a sence of trustworthiness, as well as compatablity.
From there, IDEALLY SPEAKING, I feel most comfortable inviting them over
for dinner and coffee. I love to cook for friends and guests and anyone whom
can appriciate my old world attitude is truly my type of person.
Though, since we live in the age we do, I can compromise my ideals to reasonable degrees.
But to be blunt, if you are a paranoid, than we wouldn't hit it off anyway.
Interesting things to do and places to go in general that I like:
The Planetarium (I love cosmology).
Art and natural history museums!!!!
Walks in the park and public gardens.
Nice drive on the back roads.
Outdoor live Music (I am selective about music type though).
A hike in the woods is great!!!!
Casual dinning.
Chinese buffets are lots-o-fun!!!!!
Watching a movie together on NETFLIX!
Playing computer games, ha ha ha, I am a big kid!
The classic rides at fairs.
OOOO! a Renaissance Fair! It has been many years!
Midieval Times is always a fun place too.
Music stores (instruments, that is).
Flee Markets, Thrift Stores and Yard Sales are fun.
Picknics are aways fun!
