What I am looking for:
I'm looking for a mind, body, soul and spirit connection. But I also want authentic, personable, intelligent and sincere. I believe in character, communication, and someone who refuses to play the LA games which include being flaky. Ha.
You must understand love and relationships require work and that your intentions be true.
And I like women who have feelings, desires and compassion - not into this cool as cucumber thing. The best test is to watch an Aronofsky or Muccino movie. If you don't cry during or after the movie, you are probably a cyborg. Lol.
Anyway, tired of dating and would love to meet someone with genuine long term potential.
A little about me:
My 9 to 6 job involves doing prototype/software development and motion graphics for DIRECTV but I have an MFA in film from USC so I write in my spare time. Ultimately, I want to write feature films but make a great living doing what I do.
I'm open minded and adventurous which means I am not a traditionalist unless there really is some merit in the tradition. The nice side of that is I am always trying new things but the bad side is I've suffered a few stomach aches, cuts, bruises and broken bones for being too adventurous and open.
I'm not a sports fanatic but I do enjoy watching sports. You can ask me why later.
A few of my core beliefs: Quality always trumps quantity. I do what I say and say what I mean. Believe in positive energy. There is no truth without question.
I am an activist in spirit (and actually do what I can). Environment, politics, global affairs, etc. I'd be happier just ignoring this stuff but don't seem to be able to :-)

Just a chill but interesting date - chill lounge, live outdoor music, roller derby, art walks, or even a walk on the beach can be awesome. If you're with the right person, you can have a blast doing laundry.
