Hey, I'm Cory-
Just here because I don't really believe in meeting people at bars and I refuse to date my coworkers-
I spend most of my time these days (when I'm not working) at the gym or hanging around my really cool loft apartment that I moved into a few months ago. I'm also a homeowner, part time landlord and full time expert as far as anything that has to do with electronics, computers or technology.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a software company. I've been there since shortly after high school. I started in the warehouse there, then became a hardware technician, then moved on to doing what I do now, which is program debugging, software training and support
I’m really good at
Home renovations, driving standard, fixing computers, teaching people things. I'm also a reasonably good singer that can cover a lot of different types of music.
The first things people usually notice about me
My brutal honesty, that I smell good
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I wish I had more time to read, but I just can't seem to commit to a long form book. I read a lot of online forums, have a huge interest in politics (although my views are a little non-conventional these days, why does everyone have to be an extremist?)
Movie wise I would say that I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fan, the man can literally do no wrong. I also seem to be drawn to Ed Norton movies, and have been accused on several occasions of looking like him. American Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and once in a great while a comedy, most movie comedy is too high brow for me to really enjoy.
I absolutely LOVE Texas Country music. By Texas Country, I mean Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney Larue, Casey Donahew, Mickey and the Motorcars. I just wish I could go somewhere local and see that type of music. Really, I enjoy all types of music and am a bit of an audiophile, pretty much I like anything that sounds good. I love going to live shows, and try to make it to at least one a week.
Spicy foods and chocolate desserts are the keys to my heart.
