About Me
My hair is naturally blonde, but I occasionally dye it auburn.
Whenever it’s auburn, everyone asks if I’m from Dublin or Galway.
I wake up at 5:00am to read, walk the dog, or watch the news before work.
After 9:00pm I become a drooling idiot because I got up at 5:00am.
I think drool is sexy.
Sometimes I kid about what is sexy.
I have always wanted to buy an old junker car and rebuild it myself.
The old sketch comedy “The State” is completely under-rated.
I am the only girl in a family with four siblings.
The other three are boys.
I broke my collar bone in a bicycle race, my ribs in a rugby game, my ankle in a road race, and my finger playing basketball.
Now I do Pilates.
I live for the chicken burritos at Tia Margaritas and the fries from the Connecticut Yankee.
I don’t drink often, but when I do, it’s Guinness.
When I order my Guinness, I am usually asked if I am from Dublin or Galway.
I have an orange beanie that I wear whenever I don’t feel like styling my hair.
I wear it almost every weekend.
I love men in baseball hats.
I own way too many boots.
I founded a non profit in Boston dedicated to a former student.
I teach advanced high school chemistry (AP).
I have a Bachelors degree in English.
I’m not kidding.
I greatly enjoy the looks from my parents when I explain this on Back to School Night.
I am asked to the prom almost every year.
I usually go stag.
"Blood, Sugar, Sex Magic" is the best album ever made.
When my students learn this is my favorite album, they ask me to sing “Sir Psycho Sexy."
I tell them I like getting a paycheck.
But I have sung this for free on a bar in Boston. After drinking Guinness.
I believe in paying it forward.
I crave adventure, spontaneity, silliness, and kindness.
I miss the East Coast but the weather out here is awesome.
I don't wear Uggs.
