About Me
I am an adventurous spirit. I have been traveling around and lived and worked in different countries. A couple of years ago, with the birth of my daughter, I decided to settle and chosen Montreal as the place where I want to do so.
I am a friendly and respectful to the persons around me and I am not judging. I am caring if help is needed and supportive for friends around me facing challenges. I prefer small social circles in a quiet ambiance and not that much large crowds and loudness. I find superficial talking boring and I usually try to deepen conversations then evade if that doesn't work. I am an easygoing person but I can get uncomfortable if I experience injustice or taking advantage of my friends, family or myself.
I am in general a humble person aware of my limits and possibilities but also I am aware, maybe a bit too much, that I am very smart. Not a know-it-all kind of personality, bothering people around by having an answer for everything. More a kind of intelligence that helps in understanding complex things but hinders occasionally by making things more complex than they should be.
I have my downsides and I think here is a perfect place to mention them. I am not a very communicative person. Ooooh, I just lost more than half of the readers :) looking for a communicative, outgoing, socially active man. I am not. I have not really issues to talk about my feelings, my fears and my hopes, in contrary, I just don’t talk that much. Continuing with downsides, I am sometimes inpatient and desperate about lack of decision and slow progress.
I am a person with a great heart and empathy. I am very curious person and I like to explore and discover. I also can be very playful and I love the opportunities I have with my daughter to play, paint, or build something. But I am also serious if necessary, especially about my responsibility as father and in my job. My work can be stressful and I balance this with outdoor activities. With outdoor activities, I don’t mean bar hopping or shopping mall walks, I mean hiking, walking, biking in summer and skiing, ice skating in winter. I am a nature lover. I have studied animal behavior (master degree) and I have a deep interest and respect about everything that grows and lives in nature.
I am convinced that with me works best an outgoing and social personality as balance to my more introverted personality. Family should be very important to you. If you have children, I am happy to accept more children around me and I am also open to have more own children. You should love nature and outdoor activities. You shouldn't have a collector instinct for shiny and expensive items.
I don't expect love and excitement on the first message and I don't want to rush into someone's life as I don't expect someone rushing into my life. I would prefer starting to look for opportunities to do stuff together and see how it works out. I am also convinced that mutual attraction and interest will reveal quickly and there will be soon no doubt if we should continue or better move on.
