About Me
Recent transplant to the west coast. Enjoying my time here thus far.
I enjoy being outside. Favorites involving big camping trips with new or old friends. I am not sure what it is, but I love sitting around the campfire, drinking a beer, and waking up in the middle of no where. I grew up playing competitive soccer, basketball, and softball...so I feel most comfortable with these sports. However, as we get older there are less and less opportunities to participate in these sports on a regular basis. So over the past 2 years I've been getting into cycling (road and mountain), hoping to change into the endurance aspect of sport. Other than that, I love a good hike, paddle, or swim.
Currently a physical therapist in an outpatient environment. I have a desire to go back to school at some point and obtain a PhD so I can teach at a collegiate level part time in the future. I really enjoy education and would be a full time student all the time if there wasn't such a thing called tuition.
I'm an independent person and do not mind traveling solo. At the same time, I'm incredibly social and enjoy being around others. I could talk to a rock if that was what the situation called for. I enjoy people who have a sense of adventure, responsibility, and are accepting of others. I do not have much tolerance for ignorance or arrogance.
I have a close relationship with my family and I talk to them on a daily basis. The past few years I've concentrated on getting my doctorate and learning about myself and the things I want out of life. At this point in time, I am happy with my life and the direction it is going.
Soft spot for those who can sing well. I don't know what it is...maybe because I can't carry a tune...but yeah, soft spot.
