About Me
I have just retired. I keep active at the gym, ride my bike and play lawn bowls. I feel adventureous and would love to do some more travelling. I would like to see more of Australia as well as travel overseas again. I have travelled to quite a few destinations overseas but there are always more countries to see. I also enjoy cruising - shipboard life is very relaxing. I have just returned from 6 weeks in Antarctica and South America - a wonderful energetic experience especailly with the penguins!!! I took so many photos of my adventures.
I am a good conversationalist and enjoy meeting people. I consider myself an affectionate person and am loyal to my friends and family. I am comfortable with all types of music and of course this depends on the mood and place one finds oneself in. I enjoy going to the movies and also the theatre. One theatre production that comes to mind is "Phantom of the Opera". I am very positive person and like to mix with positive people - after all, life is good. I love a good laugh - it is the best medicine!
I love being outdoors - walking along the beach and catching a sunset, swimming, bushwalking, camping - even fishing - particularly from a boat! I enjoy kayaking. I am a keen photographer when travelling. I also like to paint on canvas.....well have a go at it.....nice and relaxing. I work with watercolours and acrylics.
