About Me
Well, hello there. My name is Jesse. I heart strong coffee w/ creamer (Coffeemate, powder, original) and Will Ferrell movies. Specifically Anchorman and The Other Guys. So far it seems I'm the only person on the planet that appreciates the brilliant humor in The Other Guys. I'm not a fan of trends. To me "trendy" means "It's what everyone else is doing so we should do it to!" I say be yourself. Like what you like. **** what other people think.
I do swear. And I don't feel bad about it. But I'm respectful enough to hold my tongue in my grandmother's presence. She thinks I'm an angel who would never swear, and I wouldn't want her to know otherwise. ;-)
I drive about 3,000 miles a month for my job. During that time I listen to these stations in this order: The Current, KFAN, MPR, KQRS, WCCO AM, 93X, Cities 97. If nothing good is on any of them I turn off the radio & play Nirvana's "Unplugged" CD. I do not do KDWB or KS95. Yuck. When I'm desperate I turn on conservative talk radio and laugh at everything they say.
In general I'm an honest person who's pretty humble if I do say so myself. I like meeting people who can hold the occasional conversation that goes beyond the weather forecast or the drama of the latest reality TV show. That's probably why I chose to become a therapist. My big bro is my best friend. My mom can out-cook and out-bake your mom. Hands down. And my pops is the nicest guy you could ever meet. I'm a spelling and grammar freak. That's the nerd in me. I have tattoos, like beer, and smoke the occasional cigarette, so there's the rebel in me. I'm kind of tough to pin down, I've been told.
