I have a great life, and I count my blessings. I have found that balance is important to me. While I make sure I connect often with my great friends and family, and infuse my weeks with social outings, my work is a very rewarding and satisfying part of my life. It allows me to make a significant and personally meaningful contribution to the world.
I really enjoy being active. The gym can keep me going through the winter, but come spring, I love biking. I got into cycling just over 5 years ago. Bought a new, carbon bike, got clipless pedals, fell off the bike multiple times and looked a lot like a 2-year-old with my skinned knees. But what a lovely way to experience spring, and summer and fall. The buds and blossoms, the colors, the aromas, the sights . . . I even discovered a llama among the horses on a farm I ride by! Biking is a personal challenge for me as well: I completed my 1st century ride and felt terrific the next day! I can’t say enough about chocolate recovery drinks.
And I do love to dance! Swing and Lindy Hop, and especially Balboa. For me, dancing is pure joy, 3 minutes at a time. Let me tell you . . . there is nothing like a man who knows what he’s doing on the dance floor :)
I love the theatre and I go often. There's something very brave and impressive about acting. No do-overs. Broadway is wonderful, yet even community theatre can move me to tears.
So, enter YOU! The man I seek is a man of high integrity, has strong family values, is healthy in mind, body and spirit . . and loves to laugh and have fun with me.
My life has been a wonderful exploration so far. New is good. New keeps me engaged. I’m looking forward to whatever comes Next!
