How to begin..? Well, here are a few important things about me:
I love great British comedy (e.g. Peep Show, The Thick Of It), and Flight of the Conchords: you might find me spontaneously bursting into, say, Sugalumps, with no reasonable warning. I love letting my hair down to some good music (mainly rock, some d'n'b, some mainstream stuff.. Depends on the crowd. Not so much R'n'B). I love reading before bed, or when it's raining. I think some US TV dramas could be considered a some way redeeming factor for America. I also really like Merlin; best to get that out in the open now.
I love David Mitchell and Stephen Fry. I love getting out into the great outdoors, and enjoy cycling and proper country walks. I also think Singapore Fried Noodles are best.
I've (not very) recently returned home after a year working and travelling abroad which was just... amazing, and totally changed my outlook on life. I'm a firm believer that everybody has to get out and see more of the world. I certainly have the travel bug and there is so much more for me to see, though I will always appreciate home comforts and small luxuries (e.g. some privacy, pillows exceeding 5cm deep, a proper towel after a proper shower...). Now back in 'The Real World', I'm ambitious for my career working in the NHS - I'm currently in neurosurgery administration which I - mostly - love!
I'm now looking to find more in this fine city as I've only just moved in...What's your favourite place?
