About Me
In the past, I have done medical typing for a living. I was always typing things that reminded me everyday life can be very interesting. A person can get a toothpick stuck in their foot. Toothpicks are just dangerous! There should be a warning on their label – CAUTION: MAY PENETRATE FOOT IF STEPPED ON! Have you ever heard of someone getting a bug stuck in their ear? That has to be horrifying! And who doesn’t know of some kid who stuck a bean or some pea gravel up their nose? What could possibly make them do that? Hmmmm....here’s this bean. I think I will place it in my nostril :) Come on man!!!!
Although I'm not much of a country girl, I live in the country. If I need something then I have to go to town. Other people call it “WalMart.” In the country we call it “town.” I’m about 15 minutes from “town” yet I have cows for neighbors. There are some interesting animals in the country. We have llamas and emus. We even have buffalos and peacocks. We have guineas, which are these really dumb birds that like to get in the middle of the road and just hang around there. One day I was driving but looking down turning the radio station when all of a sudden there was this big puff of feathers all around my car. I figured I finally hit one! Also, sometimes I count sheep at night but I have to get out of my neighbor’s pasture before he wakes up in the morning.
Seriously though, the best thing about my life is my relationship with Christ. The next best thing is the two almost-grown sons I have at home. I am NOT looking for a dad for them. They are very precious young men, and they take great care of me! We have fun going to church, watching movies, bowling, and cooking together. Also, I enjoy roller skating, playing miniature golf, and frisbee, even though I kinda stink at them. I also enjoy meeting friends at Starbucks or a restaurant and just hanging out. I love music, especially 80's music, but no country.

First Date
Hmmmm, the terrifying first meeting. I don't think that I would like to call it a "date" until I get to know someone better. I'd rather meet as friends, each paying our own way. I would like to go somewhere we could talk, like maybe a restaurant.
