About Me
I am currently a student and about to be a single mom. Most of my time is spent studying and with my daughter, so I don't get out very often. When I do have some free time, I enjoy reading, (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, yeah, I'm a bit of a geek). I used to play D&D, and Vampire the Masquerade, would still, but can't seem to find the time :( I'm taking a double major in Accounting and Pre-Veterinary Medicine, so it's a pretty heavy load.
I will take study breaks to watch a Canucks game when I can. My team doesn't get on TV much around here. As for "pets happen" around me they totally do. I will rescue just about anything, even a pocket gopher. My dream is to have a huge farm/ranch where I can have as many animals as I can rescue, dogs, cats, horses, whatever (except deer) Yes, that is correct, I want to live in the country deer free. Sound silly? They scare the living hell out of me
And, now that you're done laughing, I'm totally serious, can't do trophies either. Hunt all you want, I'll cook whatever you bring as long as it doesn't look like a deer part, and for the love of god, or whatever you deem holy, please, please, please, do not have deer heads. Or any other evil antlered, hooved creature.
I like being outdoors, but I'm not big on camping in a tent, I swear, every time I've tried, the damn tent floods. I'd really like to learn to ride horses, I wanted to learn rodeo (barrel racing) but they told me I can't because I'm too old. Well, phooey on that.
As far as music, I like a little bit of everything. I'm currently on a country kick, but anytime now I could switch to blues, or rock, or whatever really. So, I'm going to stop rambling now, and if you want to know anything else, just send a message :)
