***PLEASE Note: I prefer to find someone who is local, I do not want a long distance relationship. I do appreciate the fav's and messages, but I am adamant in not wanting a long distance relationship.**** Here's a hint...if you have to message me to ask if you're local you're probably not.
My longest relationship was over 10 years and it made me realize that it's far better to be alone than to be with the wrong person. I'm hoping that this time I can finally find Mr. Right or maybe he'll find ME :)
I'm a laid back kind of person and really do prefer the simple things in life. I'm not high-maintenance and can do without drama of any kind. Spending the night in and reading a good book or watching a movie with that special person can be just as enjoyable to me as having a night out on the town. When you're with the right person even the mundane things in life can be fun.
I'm an avid reader and I keep up on current events. I like most kinds of music; 80's, 90's, classic rock, pop hits, soft rock, etc. No rap music though lol.
I'm looking for someone who is comfortable with himself, mature, kind, has an adventurous spirit and the big must-have-a sense of humor! Sarcastic or otherwise. I believe the foundation for a great relationship starts with mutual respect, honesty and communication. I believe chemistry is important as well. Sometimes we hit if off with the people we least expect. Chemistry is funny that way. I'm looking for someone who has a passion for life and all it has to offer. I don't want to be in a relationship just for the sake of being in one; I want a relationship that inspires me and brings joy and a new dimension to my life and hopefully if things "click" I do that for my partner as well.
Though I'm not looking to have any more kids myself if my significant other does have kids that is not a deal-breaker for me :)
In regards to cooking...I CAN cook but baking is more my thing. So if you're looking for the next Julia Child or (insert name of some other famous chef) you're going to be a little disappointed lol. If my significant other happens to be a gourmand I'm more than willing to learn from him. What a great way to spend an evening, creating a wonderful meal together.
I have a sense of humor and while you wouldn't call me a class clown...I'm pretty sure I could get at least a smile out of you :)
I'm a pretty good conversationalist so I would like to find someone who is good at communicating as well, whether it be in person or through messages at first. Nothing worse in my opinion than being with someone who doesn't know how to keep a conversation going.
*PLEASE Note: I prefer to find someone who is local, I do not prefer a long distance relationship.
Anything else you'd like to know? Feel free to ask.
