Looking into myself, aware of my old wounds,taking responsibility for my old brain primal reactions tempered with my new brain mode as I enter with honor and insight into the sacred space between two people. I know that the seperateness of self awareness shields others from our judgement and blame and that the luminous light of new romantic love can blind us to the impending pits of pain. I'm seeking to experience life in its fullness in an intimate and honest relationship with another human being yet keep a respectful distance apart by acknowledging each other's 'otherness' and to extend that feeling of connection to the rest of the world and into the universe. We all need connectedness but need to be fully aware of what old wounds, sometimes from childhhood, that we may be carrying into a new relationship.Inspired by Martin Buber's writings I wrote this- I and Thou, all real living is in the magic of meeting realized in the sacred space between,radiating deeply into the bones of our atoms, lifting us into universal dreams.
