About Me
By day, I work at a preschool/day care, chasing after toddlers, singing songs/helping
them express their creative side, and teach them their ABCs/shapes/colors. But after hours, nothing beats a good session of WiiFit, Instant viewing on netflix, and catching up with old friends, whether it's over coffee, or a good meal. I'm starting to truly appreciate the local music scene here in Sacramento and check out shows at least once or twice a month.
I may stick to a certain routine during the day while at work, but I also love spontaneity in life. My outlook on life is......the glass is half full, always look on the bright side of life. I enjoy being around positive people.
~ Music is my life....I have a UBER eclectic collection and whatever I listen to depends on my mood. Sometimes, I like my mellow, sappy romantic classic rock hits (ie. Billy Joel/Elton john) other times, I like rocking out to 80s/90 alternative, and of course who could forget the Fab Four....My all-time fav: THE BEATLES!!! If you want to know more...feel free to ask. My list is never ending : ) I have about 32 GB of music on my iPod and it's only about 30% full so if anyone has some suggestions let me know and I'll definitely check them out.
I feel as though my life is a T.V sitcom....I'm a Samantha who longs to be Charlotte but while on her quest to find Ted Mosby winds up meeting too many Barney Stinsons (If you can get those references, Congrats you've scored coolness points with me) Billy Joel said it best "I wear my heart out on my sleeve"....meaning I'm a hopeless romantic who loves leaving sappy love notes for her significant other, making them dinner, giving back rubs, etc. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to fulfill my fairy tale of living happily ever after and riding off into the sunset with my Prince Charming. Hopefully, that'll change soon : ).
****I'm done playing games so here's the lowdown: I'm looking not just for long-term romance but companionship. My best friend, soul mate etc. I've spent too much time finding all these duds and need something real for once. I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to settle down and have a family. So fellas if that's totally opposite of what you're looking for on this site, then sorry just keep on fishing. ****

First Date
My ideal first date would either be meeting over coffee and discussing what makes us unique whether it be our musical tastes, political/religious views, sense of humor, outlook on life etc, or spending the evening walking around Old Sac or Downtown talking about the aforementioned topics. I feel that the first date is like a "screening process" per se that gives me the chance to really connect with the person and see if there is long-term potential down the road as well as exercise our communication skills lol.
