About Me
Alright, so here goes: I'm a 33-year-old single woman living in the East Bay. LOVE the Bay Area - except for the traffic, lol. Monday through Friday I'm basically running through the routine: Gym, work, walk the dog, boxing class or dance class, catching up with friends/family, etc. I enjoy my work and the Monday - Friday flow of things... But I live for the weekends and time away from the office, when I can get out there and explore and indulge my interests.
Like most people, my interests are diverse, and what I end up doing on a given weekend just depends on my mood, the weather, who I'm with, etc. Sometimes it's going out dancing with my friends, trying a new restaurant or an old favorite, going to a Giants game, or spending a night in pj's watching movies. Love music - always seem to be listening to something - & I try to keep up on different concerts and musical events coming to the Bay Area. But of all my interests, traveling would be at the top.... Vegas, NYC, Hawaii, So Cal are a few of the semi-local places I like to visit when I can. Every few years, I head down to New Zealand to visit family and friends, and while I've had the chance to visit Asia a bit, I am hoping to head to Europe in a year or two, starting in Italy. I love going to places I've never been, exploring new cultures, environments, etc.
I try to keep physically active, and I'm working towards some goals at the gym these days. I like trying new things in general, and that includes exercise; I'm a couple months into a boxing/ bootcamp class that I go to 5 times a week, and I LOVE IT - I feel like a bit of a bad-@ss, all gloved up & throwing up combinations on the bag, ha ha. I'm hoping to try kayaking and paddle boarding too, once the weather heats up. My passion is Polynesian dancing - hula, Tahitian, etc. I'm hoping to return to competing in Tahitian competitions next year, once I'm fit enough and ready to challenge myself there.
Anyway - what am I looking for? Probably what we're all looking for. Someone genuine, someone I connect with. I've learned over the years that who you connect with often comes in all shapes, ways and forms you don't expect. So, rather than try to make some list of what I think I'm looking for, let me just say that what I find most attractive in a man is a good sense of humor, sincerity/ honesty, and a great smile.
But enough about me.... I think it's time to get to know you :-)

For a first meet-up, I'm all for keeping it simple - happy hour, coffee, etc.
I know that sounds a bit lame and generic, but when just meeting one another, that seems like the safest and easiest way to go.
