About Me
Hello, My name is Shelby. I am currently a culinary management student at Lincoln College of New England. At the moment I am searching for an internship so that I can finish my degree and graduate. I love to cook and bake. I find being in the kitchen relaxing and very enjoyable. My goal is to one day own my own restaurant. I picture it as a small family diner where people can just come in, sit down and relax. I want my customers to feel like family.
Other than cooking and baking I have many other interests. I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my family. I also enjoy music very much. You will quite often hear me singing while I am working or any other time of the day. Mostly it is country or songs about God that I am singing. My favorite genres of music are country, gospel, opera, and some rock. My other interests include, reading and writing poetry.
I'm not really sure what to say about what makes me unique. I will say though that I am an honest caring woman and all I ask is that you treat me with the same respect I give you. I love God with all my heart and am looking for someone to share that with me. If there is anything else at all that you would like to know feel free to message me. My Fish Personality.....Since I put a fish personality on here I figured I would tell you why I chose the Turtle. There are several reasons for this. One is because the turtle is my favorite animal. I also chose the turtle for its symbolic meaning in many cultures. The turtle is a symbol of protection because of its tendency to withdraw into its shell for self defense. This describes me very well. I tend to withdraw into myself when I am upset. If you don't put your feelings or emotions out there you cant get hurt right? The turtle also has few predators. I think this is good for me because I have the personality where I get along with most people. So that is why I chose turtle as my personality fish.
