About Me
My friend recently told I was entirely too honest to be dating. Is that a bad thing?
Maybe I'm most simply described in nerd terms? Several people have told me that I'm like Clark Kent with a little bit of the Superman side mixed in. That's not true...deep down I'm really like Captain America :P
While I like most of the things that other guys like, I want to focus on what, I think, makes me unique:
I don't walk around with stats, averages, and sports related crap in my head. I have flaws, but being obsessed with sports year round at the expense of loved ones isn't one of them. I do like a little football now and then. I refrain from throwing things if Alabama loses though. Growing up my heroes were not sports figures. They were historical figures that forged nations, saved lives, had ideals, served something greater than themselves. Ya know, real men. That has shaped me into a different kind of person. With a different view on what life is about.
I know when to be serious. The rest of the time I'm a witty, dry humor, funny guy.
I actually enjoy shopping with a girl. I like to understand how she thinks and find I can better love and appreciate her when I learn what things she likes. And,I give great advice if asked ;)
Sometimes people tell me that I'm an old soul or I was born too late. Many of the interests that I'm passionate about aren't shared by most. Having similar interests is always good. Finding someone who respects/ appreciates mine is important.
One other thing. Some have asked if my photos are current because I look younger in them. They are recent I just look ten years younger than I am. Great genes run in the family!
