About to put the kettle on, fancy a cuppa?
Hi, thanks for stopping by, hope you have lots of reasons to smile today :) Here are a few layers of my soul for you to ponder over/stick pins into (ouch! already?):
I enjoy travelling and exploring and I work in archaeology trying to find shiny things on excavations (a.k.a. avoiding going back to work in finance for as long as possible, much more fun working outdoors). I live in Edinburgh but not tied to there long term and I have travelled all over Scotland in the last few years working on various projects.
When I'm not digging holes in the countryside looking for treasure then I'm usually busy writing a blog, learning Burns poetry, playing tennis (badly :/), chilling out with friends in a pub/restaurant/park/whisky tasting/bowling/ski slope/anything else fun!
You (hopefully) - around 36-49 years young, enjoy being outdoors and travelling, adventurous with a positive outlook, quirky or sarcastic is good, also happy to relax sometimes and be pampered by someone special to you (me?, hopefully).
Bonus points if you are owned by a cat (optional) and like cake :)
Minus points if you smoke (not optional) or don't like 80s music :(
Burned at the stake if you know the rules for Quidditch :/
Finding someone to enjoy life together would be wonderful, a date or two would be a nice way to start. If you think we might connect then I would be very happy to hear from you, otherwise I wish you lots of luck with your search for that special date/warm fuzzy feeling. Keep dreaming :)

A coffee/beer/wine/ice cream/hot chocolate (as long as its served with marshmallows, although it's also amazing with a Tunnocks tea-cake floating on top). There will, of course, be cake as well - it's one of the most important food groups.
