Hello,
Thanks for clicking on me for whatever reason you did. My friends call me D.on. (like Dion) I am a performer/musician/busker/songwriter/. I live by means of my art which is not quite conducive for a lot of people. but it works for me. I put a lot of effort and sacrifice into my music. I have a 5 piece band that backs all my original music. We call our style of music dirty gypsy blues. We are told its a bit like Tom Waits meets GoGol Bordello. I play a variety of instruments but of lately I've been focusing on Piano and Accordion. If you are reading this and you are from around my neck of the woods you may have seen me around.
When I'm not doing band stuff,I'm usually working on school work or trying to figure out what to do with my free time.
Honestly, I'm not sure about all this online dating sh*tbut I'm trying to be open minded. I have just gotten out of a relationship and am trying to move on. So I figure what the hell.
I like being spontaneous and goofy with people I am comfortable with.
I am a shy person usually when meeting new people unless it just clicks. I always imagined meeting someone who would break me out of that shell.
My musical taste varies. I like a lot of oldschool music more then new school. I love anything 1800 - 1940's blues, swing, jazz, world, avante garde.. I cant stand most things played on the radio. This is not to say I don't like the Violent Femmes. Nor is it to say that I don't like being introduced to new music. I love This American Life and Radio Lab.
My head try's to get the best of me at times. I'm a thinker, dreamer and daydreamer this is a curse and a blessing.
I love food! I like trying new ethnic foods I've never had. I AM NOT a vegetarian. It's cool if you are but I really like being able to share and enjoy food. I am not into seafood at all.. Maybe a shrimp or 2 every so often (i dont like em) just to double check.
I like movies that make me go WTF?
I like comedies. I like being spontaneous. See nothing wrong with PDA (to an extent)
I like being passionate and romantic on an oldschool level when I am with someone.
I am running out of things to write about at 3 in the morning.
