"LIFE IS NOT ABOUT THE DESTINATION IT'S ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY" This is a quote that I chose to use for my headline, but I decided to change the headline but wanted to keep it here.
Just moved to northern RI and looking to meet new people. Hoping to meet an eneregetic woman with an open mind and patient enough to take the time necessary to build something meaningful with someone new. I believe it's important to know your strenghts and your weaknesses and I'm very well aware of mine. I'm bad with my emotions at times, I have this silly impulsive propensity to start singing in public and typically make a fool out of myself doing so, I generally don't worry about anything (I handle my own business and don't rely on people for things, but when the sh*thits the fan I just don't care to panic; I figure it out and move on), I can be the nicest/most accomodating individual until someone betrays me (but that's just human instinct), I can't swim, I have road rage (which is one of the things that does in fact work my nerves), I talk way too much (and manage to do so without really telling much of anything about myself) and I do completely random things at times that I tend to question later in an out of body experience sort of way. I don't go to the gym because I just don't care to (there's other ways to stay healthy, besides the majority of you women that fall for gym rats are so jaded and bitter because of the way they treat you, come on these websites vent about how all guys are the same and then go out with the same type of guy again...of course you think all men are the same. Widen your scope!!). There you have it...Oh wait, I just realized I didn't list a single strength!! Well here's one, UMMM WELL...I...I...Oh yeah I can cook really well and I'm great with numbers (but horrible with money, $h!t, we can't take it with us when we go so why let it burn a whole in our pockets).
I like to enjoy life in the moment and I'm a pretty simple person. I'm a sucker for good substantive/engaging conversation and feel that with open communication it is the basis behind building a strong relationship in any capacity. I work as a manufacturing technician for a BioTech firm and I'm really happy with my career choice. I'm in the process of obtaining a degree in the field to open up more opportunities and better my future.
Ideally I'm interested in meeting someone who is comfortable with who they are, confident, and strong willed. I find intelligent women extremely attractive and that it accentuates the surface beauty of a woman. I'm the type of person that loves to be challenged in life and have new experiences, so I'm open to anything.
I love meeting new people, I feel that we learn so much from one another regardless of our ethnicity, socio-economic status and what we've experienced in life. I know people from many different walks of life and believe I'm better for it, it evokes empathy and social awareness. With that said, I'm all about making friends and having a good time if there's no chance for anything more. I also want to say that I don't want anyone to feel that I'm on here to just meet women and hook-up. I truly want to meet cool people and enjoy the company of someone who doesn't take themselves or life too seriously.

First Date
I'm pretty flexible, it could be casual like meeting at a quiet bar/restaraunt or a really nice restaraunt and have dinner and a few drinks. Or it could a fun activity like mini golf, bowling, pool or even hit a museum. If we're feeling really adventurous (and juvenile and the weather is nice), maybe we can have some drinks, take a walk in a gated community and jump in someone's swimming pool (but not in the deep end, remember I CAN'T SWIM). First dates should be something that's kind of spontaneous but also thought out, simply to avert disaster. Everyone's different so each first date will ultimately be different as well.
