About Me
I have lived in FL for five years now, which is the longest I've lived in one place since I grew up mostly living abroad. My father was a diplomat, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel since the moment I was born (I was actually born in Bonn, Germany). I still love to travel, and I'd have to say South Africa is probably my favorite country that I've visited. I'm also passionate about animals, and work as an animal dentist doing non-anesthetic dental cleanings. It sounds crazy, but I find it really interesting and love that I can wear scrubs to work and play with animals all day. There couldn't be a better profession in my opinion!
I am an avid reader, and partly as a result of my travels, I am very interested in history and culture. If you can't spell, don't like to read, don't know how to handle an intellectual conversation, please do not bother contacting me. I am looking for someone who is serious about finding a relationship and can be my friend and partner. If you haven't earned your bachelor's degree, I'm probably not interested, sorry. It may be elitist, but I need someone who can challenge me and a requirement for that is education.
My family is very important to me, and I am the eldest of three girls. I hope to have a family of my own, and definitely want children. I enjoy playing sports and watching them, especially rugby, which I became hooked on while studying abroad in South Africa and Australia.
Basically, I don't want to play games and while I have no expectations for this site, it would be nice to find someone I can connect with. I enjoy being spontaneous, but also am very much a homebody. Kind of a contradiction in terms, since I like to travel but when I'm at home, I like to be home with my pets. I listen to all sorts of music, but am not a huge fan of country or rap. Though there are always exceptions to the rule. I love movies, reading, writing, learning, napping (haha), and just being in the company of someone I care about and can feel comfortable around.
