About Me
I have been a piano teacher for 15 years, and I love to perform the piano. I also play the harp at hospitals for "music as therapy." My Christian faith is very important to me. I have a special passion for Africa. I worked in Rwanda for a year in 1996 and returned several times since. Currently, I am in school to become a registered nurse. I thrive in times of stress and hope to volunteer as a disaster relief nurse. I have two children. A daughter age 9, and a son age 7. They mean the world to me and I am constantly working at being a better mother and a better person in general.
I love books and long walks in nature. I also enjoy salsa dancing and socializing but mostly I am a quiet, reflective person. I dislike people who judge and absolutely refuse to listen to gossip. I love music. My taste is eclectic and often depends on my mood, however, every genre of music is great except heavy metal.
I am looking for someone to share thoughts, discussions and appreciations. My goal is to become a better (more loving, more forgiving, more compassionate) person and would love someone to partner with me in this endeavor.
