I wear a Starcraft scarf, I always carry a deck of Magic cards in my pocket and I consider myself a connoisseur of fine boardgames and even finer beers. I also might be the most charming and charismatic nerd you'll ever meet.
Maybe not the most modest.
I live in a fantastic apartment right in the downtown core of Vancouver. I absolutely love it here, although I dearly miss living with animals. If you have a cat or a dog I will be it's new best friend.
Several months ago I quit my day job to follow my dreams and I am now constantly hard at work at making it as a voice-over artist. I'm very good at what I do and I absolutely love doing it. Life's too short to spend any time not doing what you love! If you're interested I'll send you the link to where my demos are hosted and you can listen to my caramel baritone whenever you please.
Sometimes I brew my own beer. Some of it turns out pretty damn good, other batches have been slightly poisonous. It's a fun hobby though - For the Fall season I just put together a batch of prohibition-era Pumpkin Rum. In November I'll crack that sucker open and see if what I made is in any way safe to drink. Anyone wanna be a guinea pig?
When I'm not working away on voice auditions, you'll find me either boardgaming with friends or out for beers. Or both! Aside from that, I'll take a bike out along the seawall in warm weather and take my snowboard up to Grouse mountain in cold weather. Oh and I'm slowly learning how to cook. I'm no sous chef, but over the years I've now gone from "Hopeless" to "Hey, not half bad!" in the kitchen!
I'm very lucky to be fairly well traveled. Growing up with your dad being an airline pilot is pretty fantastic. I'd simply be told to let my grade 6 teacher know I wouldn't be in next week, and him and I would jet off to London, Hong Kong, Paris, wherever he needed to fly for work. Did I mention I'm *very* lucky to be so well traveled?
I live a pretty damn good life. I'm a fairly super rad guy and I always look for more super rad people to share it with!
Join the fun!
I think first dates are a blast!
My best and usual first dates usually involve going out for drinks and games at a bar downtown, and hopefully they'll have a good burlesque show on that night. Drinks and games and underground shows always a grand ol' time make.
If you fancy something a bit more open and daylight-y, taking a sea-taxi through False Creek to Granville Island and popping into the public market for the Granville Island Tea Co.'s chai lattes is hard to beat. Maybe take in some theatre sports while we're there, or head for a pint at the brewery!
