A single,down to earth,independant working professional who possess' a terrific sense of humour.I am a positive individual who is always accompanied with a smile. My preferance is to be around people of that nature. Those comsumed with negativity,complaining and inflated egos or with a short fuse are people I steer away from.I tend to see things in a positive light, regardless the situation. I am not a materialistic person and do not expect extravagance. Losing loved ones to cancer a while back,makes one realize that material things can be replaced and that it is truly the simple things in life that are worth cherishing.I am more of a romantic who would much prefer respect,honesty and loyalty. I can be shy and depending on the situation may appear reserved and do remain cautious.
Tho' my kids no longer live with me, they will remain number 1 in my life. We are belivers and do have a spiritual side to us which makes us very close knit. Discussions around the table are about anything and everything and often involves laughter. ...mmmm,love the sound of laughter.:)
I have been involved in high impact activities in the past however now that I am older I find myself steering towards activities that are more relaxed and tranquil. I enjoy family BBQ's with family and friends, the smell of campfires and camping, wine and cheese picnics,travelling, motorbike trips, fishing, reading, listening to music,old librairies/ old buildings, Ole Quebec, boating, beaches,f lea markets, folk fests, people watching, etc..and yes,my heels and job...lol.Tho a city offers sites, sounds and bright lights, I grew up on a farm and do prefer the country life. I also have a tremendous soft spot for children, the elderly and those less fortunate.
Dining out is another favorite pastime and must admit that I have a passion for food. I am a believer that anyone can maintain thier youthful glow providing they lead a healthy lifestyle.I am an honest person and seek the same in a partner, one who happy with themselves, outgoing,content with life, believes in open communication, non-judgmental, definitely has a sense of humour, understands the definition of honesty,appreciates cuddling and isn't afraid to show and receive random acts of affection.
