My headline says it all. I'm not, necessarily, looking for my soul mate or my husband on an internet dating site. With that being said, I'm not opposed to it either. I'm really just looking to meet good people and get out of the house and enjoy life a little more then I have been lately.
First off, I'm 43. I can't seem to get my correct birthday to save. I'm told I look very young for my age and that may be true but I'm not in my 30's anymore. I have earned my years and I am not ashamed of my age. I truly know myself and I love who I am today. I know what is important and I know how to compromise on the things that maybe aren't so important to me but may be to someone else. I know how to take responsibility for my actions and I know how to say I'm sorry, if I am. I don't need to win every battle along the way. I'd rather be happy, then right. I'm looking for someone who can do the same. Now on to my profile....
I like to think I'm a friendly, easy-going & down-to-earth type of gal. I love to ride (Harley Davidson's) but wise enough NOT to hop on the back with just anyone. I'm very honest but tactful. I'm loyal, almost to a fault. I like Sunday football games in my pj's (I've been a Seahawks fan since the beginning, that should show my loyalty level).
I'm the funniest person I know and I crack myself up on a daily basis. A sense of humor is huge. It, for sure, plays a role in deciding who I choose to spend my time with. I'm also very passionate about my life and the people in it. If you are in my life, right or wrong, I will always have your back.
I love music! It was my first and most loyal love. Simply put, it truly moves me. I love love... both being in it and falling in it. I don't like unnecessary drama and avoid it like the plague if possible.
I absolutely adore my friends and a few camping trips a year are must. I'm close with my family so weekend BBQ's and/or a random scrimmage game can happen at anytime. I enjoy traveling. My experiences are limited to Mexico. I love that place and I go a few times a year but would like to see other parts of the world too.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I like to call this meeting someone interesting who may, at the least become a friend. Calling it a date before we even know each other is weird. Besides it puts way to much pressure on the whole thing. Anything super casual. Lunch or coffee. Maybe take a walk if it's nice out. Then there's always the standard let's grab a drink and that's fine too. Happy hour rocks!
